Hello Everyone! I'm back!
I would like to say that I'm feeling much better know, other than a small headache, but I should recover fully soon :-)

Hottest Book; The Hunger Games
I loved this series and so did everyone because this book got a 7.2 rating. This book was something different and The book was kind of better than the movie. I loved this book and so will everyone around me :-)
It's about Katniss Everdeen who voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games, a televised fight in which two teenagers from each twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to complete. 

Hottest Movies; Devil wears Prada

It's about a young woman who takes a job as the assistant to one of the biggest magazine editors, the ruthless Miranda Presley. This movie had humor and romance. Its perfect when snuggling up on the couch with butter popcorn during your alone time. It got a 6.7 ratings and I'm sure it has earned it. I loved this movie and i'm sure you will too. :-)

Hottest Song; Black and White by MJ

This song is by Michael Jackson or as most of you know his as The King of Pop. The reason I like this song, is not because of its beat and music. It's because of the meaning behind the words. It's not just any song, it got a real meaning that was a huge problem in society back then , racism. This song states that 'if you want to my brother, it don't matter if you are black or white'.

I absolutely love Diary of Wimpy Kid. Honestly, My whole family does. Even my oldest sister who is like 28! Its a really of funny and it is entertaining for the whole family. I was so happy when they made it into a movie, I could burst  The movie was good as the book. The illustrations are good to. I give it a 8.5/10 :-)

Small Bump by Ed Sheeran

I adore this song. its so sad and Ed's voice is like an angel. Its so beautiful, that the first time I heard it, I may have let a few tears leak out of my eyes. This song is about a close friend of Ed Sheeran's close friend and her experience with a late miscarriage at five moths pregnancy. It is sung from a first point of view.

Hi again!
So, everyone, First I would like to say; HAPPY EASTER

I know, I'm kind of late and everything but the principle stays the same. I didn't do much this weekend because I got a cold and then when Tuesday rolled around, I was back to normal. Went to school, had some fun and when I woke up this morning, my voice was hoarse and my eyes were bloodshot red! Then, to make matters worse, I couldn't get a doctor appointment because my family doctor took the day off. What a hectic day if you ask me! I know, I have not updated in a while, so I decided to upload two today! Lucky you!

So, Thats the blurb of the book. This book was different to any others that I read because it had lots of twist and turns like no other book. It had a lot of feeling and emotion to it and I can say, proudly that it was a pretty good book! :-)

17 again

Since, I was sick again, My Mom rented me some movies and even though I watched it a billion times, I decided to watch it again (get it again and 17 again(lame I know). I don't know it was because I liked it so much or because Zac Efron is really good looking. I can't decide. Anyways, this is what it is about;

At 17 Mike O'Donnell is on top of the world: he's the star of his high school basketball team, is a shoo-in for a college scholarship, and is dating his soul-mate, Scarlet. But at what's supposed to be his big game where a college scout is checking him out, Scarlet reveals that she's pregnant. Mike decides to leave the game and asks Scarlet to marry him, which she does. During their marriage, Mike can only whine about the life he lost because he married her, so she throws him out. When he also loses his job, he returns to the only place he's happy at, his old high school. While looking at his high school photo, a janitor asks him if he wishes he could be 17 again and he says yes. One night while driving he sees the janitor on a bridge ready to jump, and goes after him. When he returns to his friend Ned's house, where he has been staying, he sees that he is 17 again. He decides to take this opportunity to get the life he lost.

I don't know, why ,when or how I liked this song because I'm not really a fan of Chris Brown or T.I but I really like this song, love in fact. It's got real meaning, amazing beats and it's fun to dance to!

So today, I ditched school and hung out with my sister at the cinema, then I watched the O2l boys and laughed alot and then I ate.
So basically that's what I did today, boring yeah!

Be alright is from Justin Bieber's Acoustic album and is amazing. It touches my heart. It is deep and has meaning to it. It has no auto tune , just him singing and guitar. It a for amazing, astonishing and absolutely awesome.

Pitch Perfect!!!! (Omg what a shocker!)

 

It's Pitch Perfect and this movie is awesome. If you have watched this you would understand. It's got a 7.2 rating. It's different, well kinda. That's why I love it. I think I like it a tiny bit more than Notebook, nah that is impossible. It's not awesome, Its aca-awesome (if you've watched, the movie, you would get it!)

The BrotherBands is the spin off series of The Ranger's Apprentice. It's about Scandinavians, this time it's pretty cool. It's on it's third book right know and awesome.

Titanic is an awesome movie, like awesome. Though I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but I mean I am pretty sure the whole world's watched it. I mean it has Leonardo DiCaprio in it for god's sake and its when he was young and dreamy!! :P Its plot is that a 17 year old aristocrat, expecting to be married to a rich claimant by her mother, falls in love with  a kind but poor artist aboard the Titanic.

I absolutely, 100 % love this song even though I'm not a hooligan (fan of Bruno mars). I do appreciate his music  Hers got talent, no denying it. This song is about a guy who regrets not treating his girl right and realizes his mistakes later. My favourite line is when he goes " I should of bought, you flowers and held your hand" I don't know why but I do.

This week, I've chosen The Mist. I absolutely adore this movie. It had been my favourite horror movie. I loved it because it had a twist. It's about  a mist that unleashes a species of bloodthirsty monsters on a small town of citizens and the main character and his son are locked in a supermarket with his friends. People have to fight for their lives. One by one people start dying. Who will be next? 
I've said to much aah !!! Nah, but seriously you have to watch it. It is AMAZING!!

Hottest Book
The hottest book, this week is (drum roll please)...the Ranger Apprentice series. Aah the shock! 

Here is what the first 2 book out of 11 are about;

Hottest book of the week;

This week, I've chosen the new series of Rick Riordan 'Heroes of Olympus'". It the second series about Percy Jackson so its like a return to his world. This series is amazing because know it's not only about Percy any more  its about other people too. Sadly, only the first three books are out but I can't wait for the next one. I bet it is going to be amazing.

Hottest Movie of the week;

My sisters keeper is my choice for today's movie. I watched this movie with my classmates and some of them were crying by the end of it. It was a sad movie but very entertaining. It is about a girl who has a dying sister and all her life has been forced to donate and risk her life to save her sister, but then the time comes for when they ask for her to give up a kidney. Will she give it up or will she fight?

Hottest Song of the week;

       Magic

Magic is an amazing song. The first time I heard this song was on the radio and I instantly fell in love with it. If you've got taste then you'll agree with me (no offence). The mastermind behind this song is terrific to! This is one of his finest works but it can't beat Arena. No song of his can top that. Still it is an awesome song and this is way it is the hottest song of the week.

So, these past few days have been boring, I mean, basically all I did was finish off my assignments, read, eat, sleep. I know right lame. So I was, hey why don't I update my blog and know here I am. That is the story of my boring life. Anyways back on topic. here is this weeks HOTTEST UPDATES! :P

Geek In Pink is the hottest song of the week, hell yeah. I was shocked when I found out that it was buy Jason Mraz, I was like WHAT?!?!? I know shocking right, anyways then I listened to more of his songs and they are pretty cool. He has talent, no doubt.

Hottest Movie of the week;

This Movie is amazing, Its touching and heartwarming, its everything a good romance movie needs. Its a romance drama kinda thing where a young (hot) solider also known as Channing Tatum, falls in love with a college student           (Amanda Seyfried) while he is on holiday. 

ps. Who would want to miss 108 min of Channing Tatum.

Pss. this is also a book by Nicholas Sparks.

Hottest Book of the week;

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks is a book you wouldn't want to miss. This romantic story was made in 1996 and it still being read today. This book is filled with emotion like no other and its plot are amazing. Plus this book is also a movie. Awesome, yeah! This book is being narrated by an old man.

This book is about Noah,  who is 31 and is still in love with a girl who he met 14 yrs ago. Then one day he meets her again and she is about to get married. 

(I know OMG). 

Break Time

So this is my second post. I'm surprised I lasted this far.

This week I've been kinda busy with all my assignments and such.So I decided to update and take my mind of homework or stuff.

7 things I hate about you is this weeks hottest song according to me, I know its not new or it wasn't recently recorded but it is an amazing song and has a great beat to it. Miley Cyrus is amazing in this song.

 Hottest Book of this week;

So much to tell you is an amazing book and John Marsden is a legend. This book has so much feeling and depth that I was hooked. That is why I chose it and it is about a girl whose father threw acid on her face and she became mute.

Hottest Movie of The Week; 

The Proposal is a hilarious comedy that make you die of laughter. I've watched this movie just about 200 hundred times and I have laughed every single time. It is about A pushy boss that forces her assistant into marring her so she don't get shipped of to Canada.

Hello People of The World,

I come to you in Peace. I am from the planet Mars... Just Kidding. Hi My name is Mona Jackson and I am from this planet we call earth. I am in Yr 8 which means I am 13. So, I have this English assignment and it is to create a blog so here I am. For this blog I decided to call it Hottest Updates. I know this isn't a very creative title but it was the only thing I could come up with that is related to my topic. So, basically, every week I am going to choose my favourite book, movie and song of the week.
